Harold L Seigler

AIKEN - Mr. Harold Lewis Seigler, 82, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 24 at 11:00 Am in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Tom Poteat will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Seigler was born in Spartanburg, SC, a son of the late Willie E. and Ruth Koon Seigler. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII, and retired from DuPont before working for Westinghouse at the Savannah River Site. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #156 and a member of Wittenberg Lutheran Church,. Leesville, SC. Mr. Seigler is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Betty Hayes Seigler; daughter, Paula Seigler (Toby) Beckham, Murrells Inlet, SC; son, Ronnie Seigler, Leesville, SC; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Sarah (Hasting) Cato, Batesburg, SC, Doris (Tom) Poteat, Prosperity, SC, Evelyn Ricard, Prosperity. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wittenberg Lutheran Church, 233 N.
