Winaka Knopp

AIKEN- Mrs. Winaka Cook Knopp, 92, died Wednesday , December 23, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Knopp was born in Glen Rogers, WV, a daughter of the late John Richard and Sophia Davis Cook. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Aiken, SC. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Amaranth. Mrs. Knopp was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Wallace J. Knopp, and a brother John Ralph Cook. She is survived by a sister Veronica Lamond of Hilliard, OH, and a brother Richard Cook of Downers Grove, IL. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse Funeral Home. Interment will follow in AIken Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Shellhouse Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Aiken Eastern Star and members of Amaranth.
