AIKEN - Mrs. Sophie Agnes Adams Blakeslee, 91, died January 3, 2010. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends until 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with Reverend Agustin Torm celebrant. Interment will be private. Mrs. Blakeslee was born in Montague City, MA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Eva Rolichet Adams. She had been a resident of Aiken for the last year and was a homemaker. \She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Maselli, Aiken; her two sons, Edwin Jay Blakeslee, Jr., Meriden, CT, Robert William Blakeslee, Sr., Branford, CT; four grandchildren, Cindy (Steve) Seeley, Barbara Maselli, Robert Blakeslee, Jr., Tammy Milligan; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Anne Rafter, New Haven, CT. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Blakeslee, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Aiken Rescue, Inc., P.O.
