Luana Howells Grimley

AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Luana Howells Grimley, 68, died Saturday, January 16, 2010. A private memorial service will be held at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home, and a second memorial service will be held in Chicago at a later date. Mrs. Grimley was born in LaGrange, IL, a daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Nelson Howells. She was a registered nurse, and was very involved with the Animal Protection Institute and the Fund for Animals. Mrs. Grimley is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Grimley; daughter, Carolyn Nelson, Aiken; two sons, Christopher (Cheryl) Grimley, Sherman Oaks, CA, Joshua (Ja-hae) Grimley, Aiken; a grandson, Jackson Grimley; a brother, Arthur (Sharon) Howells, Jr., LaGrange Park, IL.
