AIKEN - Miss Haley Elizabeth Baer, 14, died Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. John United Methodist Church, Graniteville. Reverend Alan Quarles will officiate. Interment will follow in Graniteville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hanisee, Jason Griffin, Christopher Griffin, Daniel Baer, Lauren Baer, Charlie Wood, Keith Wood, Ethan Baer, and Damian Baer. Honorary pallbearers will be her classmates at Schofield Middle School. Haley was born in Augusta, GA and was an A-B Honor Roll student in the 7th grade at Schofield Middle School in Aiken. She was an avid gymnast, loved to swim, was Miss Sixth Grade at Schofield Middle School, was known for always having a positive attitude and loved her pets and animals. She was a big fan of Clemson Football and Schofield Middle School Football, and enjoyed spending time on Facebook with all of her friends. Haley is survived by her loving parents, Adrian Johnsen Baer and Stephanie Jones Baer, Aiken; sister, Ashley Baer, Aiken; maternal grandparents, Ron and Sharon Griffin, Aiken; paternal grandparents, Ken and Debra Baer, Aiken; aunts, Rhonda Heath, Lauren Baer, Madeleine Stratton, all of Aiken; uncles, Jason Griffin, Aiken, Christopher Griffin, Aiken, Damian Baer, Seattle, WA, Nathan Baer, New York, NY, Daniel Baer, Aiken, Ethan Baer, Fayetteville, NC, Wayne Heath, Aiken.
