Christine Lyday Merrill

Aiken- Christine Caroline Lyday Merrill, 77, died March 5 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. She was born in Transylvania, NC to the late Ernest William and Frances Gray Lyday and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Survivors include her loving husband, Winston Everette Merrill and beloved children, Deborah Kay Merrill, Aiken, and David Wayne Merrill, Lexington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Ruth Powell and a brother Charlie William Lyday. Funeral services will be held at 12 Monday, March 8 at Millbrook Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Eddie Leopard officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Cemetery.
