William “Will” Belton Oneil Courtney, III, age 23, of Newberry, Florida passed away on April 7, 2010. He was born in Anderson, SC on September 15, 1986. Will is survived by his parents, Bill and Kathy Courtney, Newberry, FL; maternal grandmother, Frances Hall, Aiken, S.C.; paternal grandparents, Oneil and Yvonne Courtney, Aiken, S.C.; uncles, Ricky (Debbie) Hall, Graniteville, S.C., Dwayne (Page) Courtney, Aiken, S.C.; aunts, Julie (David) Cook, Atlanta, GA, Melanie (Ronnie) Johnson, Aiken, S.C., Norma Hall, Aiken, S.C., Melanie (Larry) Boyd, Aiken, S.C. and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Henry Hall and his uncle, Robert Hall. Will was a Junior at the University of Florida College of Agriculture, majoring in Food and Resource Economics. He loved to shoot sporting clays, hunt, fish, bowl and especially gardening. He also enjoyed time with his two labs, Buddy and Dixie. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held April 11 at 2:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Loy officiating. Graveside services will be held April 13 at 12:00 PM at Historic Bethany Cemetery in Aiken, SC.
