Margaret Timmerman Yonce

AIKEN, SC -- MARGARET TIMMERMAN YONCE. 89, widow of Vernon Yonce, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Pepperhill Nursing Center. A native of Edgefield County, SC, Mrs. Yonce was a daughter of the late Percy and Pearl Price Timmerman. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta. She will be remembered as a fun loving person, who enjoyed making others laugh and as a wonderful mother. Survivors include three daughters; Gerri Johnson and Kathryn Carr, both of Aiken and Phyllis (Mike) Hallman of North Augusta, a son, Robert (Marsha) Yonce of Statesville, NC, four grandchildren; Michael Thompson, James Baker, Gary Yonce and Michael Hallman, six great-grandchildren; Trenton Thompson, Jennifer and Matthew Yonce, Jeremy Arthur, Kaylee and Connor Hallman, a great-great granddaughter, Summer Wood, two sisters; Myrtle Marbert, Aiken and Dorothy Bradford, Harlem, GA and a half-brother, Terry (Vicky) Timmerman, Johnston, SC. The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse Funeral Home, with The Rev.'s Chris Brown and Mike Hallman officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
