Robert Alvin Moon

Windsor - Mr. Robert Alvin Moon, 42, entered into rest on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Millbrook Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Eddie Leopard and Chaplain Howard Burgess officiating. Interment with honors will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Robert was born April 22, 1968 in Eunice, LA, a son of John C. Moon, Cedar Hill, TX, and Lois Pollock Moon, Brownfield, TX. Robert graduated from Brownfield High School and attended South Plains College in Texas. Robert proudly served his country in the US ARMY from 1990-1995 where he earned multiple medals and ribbons. Robert recieved a numerous amount of certifications in EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, and the Dept of Homeland Security. Robert was a Paramedic/ Supervisor with Aiken County Emergency Services for the last 14 years, Firefighter with Windsor Fire Department, and a member of Aiken County Sheriff's Department SWAT Team. Robert was also an avid member of New Holland Coon Club. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne Flippin Moon; daughters, Ashley and Lindsay Moon; son, Tyler Moon; sisters, Susan Click, Brownfield, TX, Linda Gisolo, Brownfield, Tyna Hall, Stillwater, OK; brothers, John P. Moon, Lafayette, LA, Michael C. Moon, Midlothian, TX, Donald C. Moon, San Angelo, TX. Pallbearers will be the Aiken County EMS Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be the Aiken County EMS and the Aiken County Sheriffs Department. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor, to his wife and children at 606 Fairway Dr. New Ellenton, SC 29809.
