Sara Wheatley Johnson

HIAWASSEE, GA - SARA WHEATLEY JOHNSON, 92, died April 30, 2010 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Wilkes Co., GA to the late Frank and Jeanette Murray Wheatley. She was a retired bookkeeper at Aiken Technical College and a member of Aiken First Baptist Church. Survivors include her loving daughter, Nancy (Leonard) Stahl, Hiawassee, GA; four grandchildren, Gregg Stahl, Patrick Stahl, Cam Copley, Cathy Taylor; four great grandchildren; Charles Taylor, Clyde Taylor, Callie Stahl, and Christian Stahl. She was preceded in death by her husband,W. Vincent Johnson; a daughter, Joyce Copley; a sister, Frankie Dockins, and brothers, Sanders Wheatley, Palmer Wheatley, Murray Wheatley and L.M." Mac" Wheatley. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, May 3 at Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Fred Andrea, III officiating. Interment will follow at Clearwater Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leonard W. Stahl,Gregg Stahl, Patrick Stahl, Carl Brown, Jr., Frank Thomas, Jr. and Trey Taylor.
