Aiken- Doris Summers, 85 died May 7. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 13 at Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Blocker officiating. Interment will be private at Historic Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. She was born in Newberry, SC to the late Charlie Gibson and Annie Wright Summer. She is survived by a daughter, Janie May Summer and two half brothers, Dan and Johnny Summer. Memorials may be made to Tri-Development, 1016 Vaucluse Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
