Aiken SC- Phyllis Carol Twitty Woody, 67, died Wednesday, June 3, at her residence.
Ms. Woody was born in Camden, SC and had lived in Aiken all her life. She was a daughter of George Gregory and the late Nancy Braddock Twitty Gregory of Aiken. She was a homemaker.Survivors, in addition to her parents include her children, Nancy (Ronnie) Boyle, Aiken, Winnie (Todd) Mayo, Chesterfield, MI, three sons, John (Anne) Cooper, Aiken, William ( Lynn) Cooper, Kearneysville, WV, and Stephen (Amy) Cooper of Bath, two sisters, Reba Sandlin, OH, and Marsha Williams, Augusta, GA, one brother, Charles Twitty, Aiken, and her companion, Jim Canepa, Aiken, SC. Also included are thirteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by brothers Michael Twitty and John Robert Braddock. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5, at 3:00 PM at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Al Sandlin officiating. Interment will be private.
