AIKEN - Ms. Marilyn Peacock, 78, died Thursday, June 10, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. Deacon Robert J. Waters will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Peacock was born in Albany, Ga, a daughter of the late Herbert and Willie Bunch Peacock. She was a resident of Aiken since 1967, was a social worker for DSS in Aiken County, and a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Ms. Peacock is survived by her daughters, Meg (Jose0 Cerda, Aiken, Mary Younts, Aiken, Marti (Lou) Pulicicchio, San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren, Eric Cerda, Ashley Sox, Adrianne Cerda, Jonathan Younts, Michael Sox, Christopher Younts, Sarah Younts; two great grandchildren, Cory Cerda and Makayla Sox.; and a brother, Jimmy Hayes, Vienna, GA.
