AIKEN - Mr. Charles Rudolph "Rudy" Bell, 66, died Saturday, July 3, 2010. A memorial service will beheld at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 10 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Louie Anderson officiating, The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be held privately. Mr. Bell was a lifelong resident of Aiken and a son of the late Charles and Frances Goldman Bell. He was a member of Central Baptist Church; a construction supervisor and loved his dogs dearly. Survivors include his two daughters, Laura (Richard) Shelley, Aiken, Wendy (Bubba) Cumbee, Summerville, SC; a son, James Edward Bell, N. Charleston, SC; five grandchildren, Kevin, Brandi and Taylor Shelley, Lauren Davis and Tracy Cumbee; four sisters, Ethal (Jacob) Walker, Aiken, Ellen (Ron) Shelley, Aiken, Lois Bell, Aiken, Mickie (Don) Cook, Texas; several nieces and nephews, a brother in law, Rock (the late Myrt) Egbert, Aiken, and his two puppies, Boots and Foots.
