Kenneth Warren Parrish

AIKEN, SC -- KENNETH WARREN PARRISH, 67, beloved husband of Charleen Venning Parrish, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. A native of Nashville, TN, Kenneth was a son of Hilda Suddarth Parrish and the late Joseph Warren Parrish. He was a retired medical equipment salesman and former co-owner of Port Canaveral Security Co. Kenneth was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He had grown up in Aiken, and moved back four years ago. He was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church, and had just married his childhood sweetheart in January, 2009. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Charleen, and mother, Hilda, both of Aiken, include a daughter, Lisa (John) Mezarros, Naples, FL a son, Will Parrish, Naples, Florida, a step-son, Christopher Willett, Cocco Beach, FL, a step-daughter, Kathryn Joyner, Chesapeake, VA, eight grandchildren and a nephew, William Joseph Parrish, Jr.. Preceding Kenneth in death were his father and a brother, William Joseph Parrish, Sr. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Millbrook Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Eddie Leopard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Private interment will be in Montmorenci Baptist Church Cemetery.
