Pauline Thomas Parrott

NEW ELLENTON, SC -- PAULINE THOMAS PARROTT, 79, widow of Herbert D. Parrott, died August 13, 2010 at her residence. A native of Sevierville, TN, Mrs. Parrott was a daughter of the late John and Myrtle E. Manning Thomas. She was a longtime resident of New Ellenton. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church for 58 years and was a former Sunday School teacher, member of the Sanctuary Choir and the Seniors Choir and was very active in the church and it's prayer chain. Pauline was a retired supervisor with Therma Disc. Survivors include two daughters; Pamela P. (Richard G.) Willard, Aiken, Deborah Winburn, New Ellenton, two grandchildren; Richard (Vanessa) Willard and Ryan Willard and a great-granddaughter, Raegan Willard. Mrs. Parrott was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, daughter, Vicki Ann Parrott and son, Larry Rex Parrott. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Corinth Baptist Church with The Rev.'s Brancie Stephens and Michael Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, officiated by Rev. Kirby Bunton. Pallbearers will be Steve Goggans, Steve Harris, Tim Thomas, Harold Key, David Whitson and Donnie Chambers.
