Paul Alfred West

Paul Alfred West (September 10,1926 – August 18,2010) AIKEN, SC – PAUL ALFRED WEST, 83, beloved husband of Laura West, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at his home in Aiken SC. A native of Dade County, FL, Mr. West was a son of the late Paul M. West and Mary Elizabeth Strickland West. He was a retired Master Seargent in the US Air Force and was the recipient of a WWII Victory Medal, owner of Paul West Assoc. where he sold insurance and investments and a member of the Aiken Chamber of Commerce. Survivors, in addition to his wife Laura, include a daughter Sharon West, Aiken, a son Paul Weirather, Costa Rica, four sisters; Carolyn McDonald, June Newman, Waycross, GA, Patsy Mishler, Hammond, LA, Peggy Duncan, Blackshear GA, and one brother Edward West, Niceville, FL. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 22 at 3:00 PM at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Historic Bethany Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Military.
