Dorthy I. Mercer Thompson

Aiken-Dorothy I. Mercer Thompson, 94, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Trinity Hospital, in Augusta, Ga. Funeral services will be private. Inurnment at a later date at Oak Noll Cemetery in Palmer, Mass. Mrs. Thompson was born in New Haven, CT to the late Gladys Mae Brass Mercer and Robert Mungall Mercer and is predeceased by her husband Edward Linwood Thompson a daughter Susan Styspeck and a son Jeffery Thompson. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker who made Aiken her home in 2005. She is survived by her son Linwood "Lin" Thompson, Aiken, two grandchildren, Mark Jeffery Styspeck, and Ann Marie Fecteau and two great grandchildren Kristin and Jill Fecteau.
