Ellen Davenport Ehrhart

AIKEN - Mrs. Ellen Davenport Ehrhart, 74, died Sunday, September 12, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday evening at 9 Woodhill Place, Aiken. Mrs. Ehrhart was born in Richmond, VA, a daughter of the late Elmer E. and Ellen Ann Coppock Davenport. She had been a resident of Aiken since 1952, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Ehrhart is survived by her daughter, Debbie E. (Billy) Charlton, Aiken; two grandchildren, Trey and Chris Charlton; a sister, Jane D. (Jerry) Lawson, Florence, AL; niece, Wendy Trout; nephew, Keith Lawson; and a special companion, her dog Tiff-e. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Sterling Ehrhart.
