James "Jimmy" Ray Baker

NEW ELLENTON, SC -- JAMES RAY "JIMMY" BAKER, 45, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Jimmy was the son of Fay Hasty Baker and the late William Hawkins Baker. He worked for Parsons Corporation. Survivors include his mother Fay of New Ellenton, three sisters; Brenda (Tommy) Sims, Langley, SC, Wanda (Brian) Randolph, New Ellenton and Linda (Steven) Heath, New Ellenton, his companion, Jimmie Ann Watkins of New Ellenton, six nieces and nephews; Jason (Stacie) Randolph, Josh Randolph, Stacey (Luke) McKinney, Brandon (Stacie) Heath, Nikki Sims and Dana (Clay) Chipley. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Inurnment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Lynn and Darryl Wolfe. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
