AIKEN - Mr. James Allen "Punky" Youngblood, 57, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend David Young officiating. Interment will be held privately.
Mr. Youngblood was born in Aiken, a son of the late Clarence and Doris Bell Youngblood. He was a brick mason, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was one of the kindest men you could know.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane McFee Youngblood; three daughters, Shannon (Lonnie) Chavis, Aiken, Dee Jay (Robert) Campbell, Lexington, Christy (Jack) Dossett, Warrenville; seven grandchildren, Justin Young, Cameron Chavis, Zack Deas, Bailey Campbell, Brice Campbell, Amber Dossett, Cody Dossett; three sisters, Kay Hollingsworth, Pelam, GA, Faye Fulmer, N. Augusta, Gail Cochran, Aiken; a brother, Dale Youngblood, Aiken.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and George Youngblood, and a sister, Shirley Phillips.
