AIKEN - Mr. Clarence Downs Bush, Jr., 82, died Friday, December 10, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 16, 2010 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. Full military honors and Masonic Rites will follow the service, and the family will then receive friends. Interment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX. Mr. Bush was born in Fort Worth, TX, a son of the late Clarence Downs and Zelphia Pearl Hammer Bush. He was retired from the US Navy, having served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and during the Cold War. He was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge, was a Denizens of the Deep Submarine Vet, and was a Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by his four daughters, Sylvia Diane Reimann, Franktown, VA, Dana Corrine Harriett Ostrov, Aiken, Melody MacArty, Lehigh Acres, FL, Deborah Elizabeth Wayland, Columbus, GA; a son, William David Bush; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren/ In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Downs Bush, III.
