AIKEN - Mrs. Helen Josephine Hamilton Woodard, 90, died Saturday, December 11, 2010.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in El Paso Mutual Cemetery, Derby, KS, directed by Smith Mortuary.
Mrs. Woodard was born in Wichita, KS, a daughter of the late Arthur P. and Julia Kaluba Hamilton. She was a resident of Aiken since 2006. She was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star, Delta Rho, Officers Wives Club, and MOWW (Members of World War).
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah J. Woodard, Euless, TX; son, Charles E. (Lynn) Woodard, II, Aiken; grandson, Charles (Trey) Woodard, III, Gainesville, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. (Ret.) Charles E. Woodard in 2002
