Fibilah Turner El

LITHONIA, GA - Fibilah Turner El, 34, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Atlanta Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 6:29 PM Wednesday, December 22 at Houndslake Country Club, 901 Houndslake Drive SW, Aiken, SC, 29803 with Minister Vera Bey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Fibilah was born in Aiken, SC, daughter of Lois and the late Herbert Turner El. She had been a resident of Lithonia, Georgia for 15 years, a member of the Moorish Science Temple of America, a previous member of the Augusta Symphony and volunteered with the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA). Fibilah loved assisting the older generation, adored children, good food and music. She is survived by her Mother; paternal grandmother, Mildred B. Turner, New Ellenton; godmother, Dyanna Bey, Aiken; godparents, William (Bill) and Beverly Clyburn, Aiken; her "Atlanta Mother", Elizabeth Long; and best friend, Eric Collins, Lithonia, GA; many sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and loving friends.
