Mildred Brown Grisham

AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Mildred "Mickey" Brown Grisham, 83, died Saturday, December 18, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Aiken, SC with the Reverend Dr. Eddie Leopard officiating. Interment will take place in Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway, AR on Wednseday, December 22 at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Grisham was born in Little Rock, AR, a daughter of the late James Fenner Brown and Alma Dyson Brown Murray. She was a former resident of Jefferson County, AR and Conway, AR, and made Aiken, SC her home since 2000. She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church where she volunteered in the church office and taught Sunday School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters, Carole M. Smith, Aiken, SC, Reverend Dr. Nancy Grisham, Wheaton, IL; a grandson, C. David Martindale; great grandchildren, Grisham, Alexandria, Miah Blue and Weslyn Bernard; step grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, James "Buzz" Brown, Beaumont, TX. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Carroll Grisham; her granddaughter, Melissa M. Bernard; and by a sister and a brother.
