AIKEN, SC – ADAM MICHAEL SCHWARTZ, 45, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center, after a short illness.
A native of Kenoza Lake, NY, Adam was the son of Cheryl L. Davidowicz and Steven M. Schwartz. He graduated from Lake Wallenpaupack High School in Pennsylvania. Adam also graduated from Washington State University with a BS in Business and Finance. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Adam proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a member of the 172nd Infantry Brigade at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, AK. He lived in Aiken for the last 7 years and worked in residential landscaping.
Surviving are his mother, Cheryl Davidowicz, Aiken; father, Steven M. Schwartz, Chantilly, VA ; maternal grandmother, Peggy Weston, Aiken; Aunt Bernadette Barry and cousins, Brooke and Brandon McMurray of Hawley, PA, whom he lived with for several years. Other survivors include many of his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and girlfriend, Tami DeWitt from Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Frank and many of his good friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, A. Pierson “Pete” and Helen (Poley) Schwartz.
A private gathering celebrating Adam’s life will be held by the family.
