Angela Crosby Smith Wicker

AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Angela Crosby Smith Wicker, 75, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Monday, February 14, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Born in Augusta, GA, Mrs. Wicker was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Leona Durham Crosby. A lifelong Aiken county resident, Mrs. Wicker was a graduate of Limestone College. She retired from BAE Systems as a personnel administrator. Mrs. Wicker was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and more recently Immanuel Baptist Church of North Augusta. Her passions in life were reading, dancing and traveling with family and friends. She is survived by her brother, Charles O. (Karen) Crosby, Aiken; stepchildren, David Wayne Smith II, Augusta, GA, Phyllis (Shanna) Wicker, Casey, SC, Lee (Clancie) Wicker, North Augusta, SC; nieces, Becky (Larry) Griffith, Charlene Crosby; great-nephews, Justin Griffith, Corbin Griffith and her best friend, Frank Scharite. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, David “Wayne” Smith and Jerry Lee Wicker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mt.
