Aiken – Mr. Anthony Dominick Signorelli, 93, married to Ann Signorelli, the love of his life for over 70 years, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at his residence. Born in Paterson, NJ, Mr Signorelli was a son of the late Diego and Pauline Vivino Signorelli. He served his country as a SSGT in the Army Infantry with G. Company 106th Regiment 27th Division during WWII. He was a Purple Heart recipient, being wounded in the Battle of Saipan in the the Pacific Theater. He was an accountant by trade. A self made man, a New York Yankee fan, & a lover of music, travel, and history. He was a man who loved his family more than life itself. In addition to his wife, Mr Signorelli is survived by two daughters; Paula (Joyce Bethmann) Signorelli of Aiken, Linda (Ed) Obuchowski of Hilton Head SC. Grandchildren, Ed (Katy) Obuchowski, David (Sarah) Obuchowski, Melanie Orwig; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved sister Paula Bartolo, Ft Lee, NJ and his beloved brother Richard Signorelli, New Hope, PA He was predeceased by another daughter, Cathy Signorelli. The family wishes to express their gratitude to their niece & cousin Janet MacLean for being our rock and our strength, and for her endless guidance, love, support & compassion. Also to Darlene Orcutt for always being there. Calling hours will be from 9:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Shellhouse Rivers Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary Help of Christians (Old Church) on Park Ave, Aiken.
