Betty Foreman Prawdzik

NEW ELLENTON, SC – BETTY FOREMAN PRAWDZIK, 90, widow of Chester Joseph Prawdzik, Sr., died Monday, November 6, 2017 in University Hospital, Augusta, GA. A native of Oak Park, GA, Betty was a daughter of Dewitt and Belle Kirkland Foreman. She grew up in Mims, FL and Douglas, GA. She lived in New Ellenton since 1964 and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include six children, Joe Prawdzik, North Augusta, Lottie Thorne (Jack), Aiken, Chris Prawdzik (Ruth Ann), Columbia, Nena Thomas (Johnny), Eastover, Chestine Teal (Randy), Williston, Vickie Reese (Steve), New Ellenton; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon, November 8th beginning at 2 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 3 o’clock. Chaplain Dexter Lambert will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org).
