BOBBIE GOFF MILLER, 91, beloved wife of the late Travis G. Miller, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Saluda, Bobbie was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Leeway Riley Goff. She played on the Women’s Basketball team at Hollywood High School in Saluda, winning the State Championship all four years in the 1949 era. She retired from Roses Department Store in Aiken in 1989. She was a faithful member of Charles Wesley United Methodist Church until it closed. She was named Woman of the Year at Charles Wesley in 2003.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Diane Butdorf (Keith), Bluffton, SC, Brenda Lee Willing (Alan), Aiken; her son, Travis Brian Miller (Bridget), Aiken; grandchildren, Matt Butdorf (Heather), Jeremy Butdorf (Dana), Jake Ramsey (Heather), Emilee Beaudrot, Kristina Miller, Martina Woodruff (Jared); great-grandchildren, Zachary Butdorf, Madeline Butdorf, Olivia Ramsey, Breelyn Ramsey, Hampton Woodruff, Palmer Woodruff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Travis, her husband of 64 years in 2013 and a brother, Wayne R. Goff.
The family will receive friends Friday morning, July 28th beginning at 10 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 o’clock with The Rev. Jim Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
