Boyce Thomas Brock

NEW ELLENTON, SC – Mr. Boyce Thomas Brock, 91, beloved husband of Mary Joyce Brock passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023. He was at home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.

Born in Waynesville, NC Mr. Brock was the son of the late Jasper and Ocie Messer Brock. Upon graduating high school and the death of his father, Mr. Brock joined the US Army. He was stationed at Ft. Gordon during the Korean War. After leaving the Army, Mr. Brock began a long career as a lab technician with DuPont at the Savannah River Site. Mr. Brock enjoyed golfing, camping and traveling in his RV with his wife. In his later years, he always enjoyed having his morning coffee with his buddies at the Exxon station in New Ellenton. Mr. Brock will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Brock is survived by his daughter, Terry (Keith) Brock-Dobrzykowski, Aiken; son, Steven (Patricia) Brock; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
