Brandon Christopher Hall, aged 39, passed away on November 7, 2024, in Multnomah County, Portland, Oregon. Born on August 21, 1985 in Aiken, South Carolina, Brandon was known for his lively spirit and a deep love for the outdoors.
Throughout his life, Brandon was dedicated to his work with several companies, including Beams Contracting, Inc., Hobbs & Sons Clearing, Grading and Paving, Carter Insulation & Services, Inc., and Mid-Ohio Pipeline Company. He also contributed to pipeline work in Carlsbad, New Mexico. His career reflected his work ethic and commitment to his profession.
Brandon attended Unity Holiness Church in Aiken, South Carolina, Bethel Baptist in Aiken, South Carolina and Victory Rock Praise & Worship Center in Galion, Ohio, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. He also participated in community and spiritual activities while attending these churches.
He had a profound passion for life and the highlight of it all was becoming a Daddy to his beautiful daughter Kyleigh, whom he loved until the very end. Spending special moments with his family and friends and his Nanny (Marilyn) whom he loved so much, fishing every lake, pond, stream or beach that he could find, hiking and spending time in the mountains and the beach, and riding roller coasters with his mom while having to sit in the front seat on every one of them, riding jet skis on the lake and swimming in any body of water whether freezing or not, and listening to all the different music, especially country. Brandon’s uncanny ability to make people laugh and his infectious smile and eagerness to help others were qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.
Survived by his mother, Pamela R Basey (Bob) of Evans, Georgia; daughter, Kyleigh R. Hall and her mother Amanda McNeely of Greenwich, Ohio; and a large extended family of Uncle Mark Vickers, Jr. (Aiken), Aunt LaDonna Jantzen (Aiken), Aunt Vonda & Uncle Jimmy Adamson III (Aiken), Aunt Connie & Uncle Ricky Rule (Aiken), Uncle Benny Clayton (Ashlee) (Aiken) and Uncle Todd Clayton (Aiken) Uncle Darrel & Aunt Linda Hall (Aiken), Aunt Glenda and Uncle Bill Taylor (Aiken), Uncle Ronnie & Aunt Lisa Hall (Aiken), Uncle Billy Hall (Aiken) and numerous 1st cousins that he considered like brothers and sisters who loved him, and 2nd cousins who he thought of as his nieces and nephews, (3) children he loved so much (2) stepsisters, (2) stepbrothers and a stepfather who were very dear to him and numerous friends who loved and prayed for him continually as he walked this path that God had him on. Brandon's legacy will be carried on by those he loved. Brandon’s life was marked by his joyous approach to life, commitment to his loved ones, and his devout faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Donnie Hall; Maternal Grandparents, Marilyn S. Marshall and Marshall D Clayton, Paternal Grandparents Dale C Hall and Melvin Hall, nephew, Daniel Basey and a cousin Timothy Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Shellhouse Funeral Home on Hayne Ave. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
