Aiken, SC

Brenda Bird (née Warner) passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 76 in Aiken, South Carolina. She was born on November 29, 1947, in Jamestown, New York. After graduating from George Mason High School, she went on to attend Radford University. It was in Radford that she met her husband of 56 years. Brenda was a loving wife to James (Tuck) Bird and a devoted mother to Christine Crabtree and Benjamin Bird and his wife, Jennifer Bird. She was also a cherished grandmother to Tanner and Taylor Crabtree.

Throughout her life, Brenda found joy in walking her dogs, gardening, reading, bird watching, and sitting on her front porch enjoying the outdoors. She was very sociable and liked by everyone she met. Brenda had a kind heart and a deep compassion for others, always offering support and love in great abundance. Her warm, tender, patient nature was a gift that those who knew her are grateful to have witnessed.

She is now reunited in the afterlife with her father, Bertil Warner, and mother, Ruth Warner, and her beloved pets, Sambuca and Abby and Leo and Murphy. Brenda will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will forever live on in their hearts.

If you feel inclined to honor her memory, we ask that you make a donation to the Golden Retriever Foundation (https://www.goldenretrieverfoundation.org/donate-now) in her name.
