Carolyn Theresa Cain

Carolyn Theresa Cain, 70, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 in Aiken Regional Medical Center. She is now with our Lord.

Carolyn was the daughter of Jean Craig Cain and the late Robert Elwood Cain. Carolyn graduated from Aiken High School and with a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University. She taught reading at Hawthorne Elementary for five years in Atlanta, GA. Moving on to Delta Airlines in their computer department. After five years there, Carolyn was diagnosed with MS and retired on disability.

Surviving along with her mother, is her brother, Ted (Susan) Cain, her nephew Matt (Karlie) Cain, and her niece Erin (David) Zeigler, great niece, Kennedy Cain, and great nephew Wesley Cain.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning, March 24th at 11 o’clock in Historic Bethany Cemetery with The Rev. Brian Atkinson officiating.

Many thanks to the loyal and kind staff at Trinity on Laurens for providing excellent and loving care Carolyn received while being a resident there.
