CHARLES RICHARD DINUNZIO, 70, of Aiken SC passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Kimberly Dinunzio, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph Dominic and Aileen Marie Naro Dinunzio, a brother, James Anthony Dinunzio.
A native of Cleveland Ohio, Charles (Chuck) graduated from Mentor High School and quickly found himself working in the music industry which allowed him to travel across the country where he met the love of his life, Kim. Chuck was a successful business owner of (SWD) in Waste Management.
He was a sports enthusiast and loved Cleveland sports to include the Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers. He enjoyed umpiring for girls’ softball at various levels. His love of golf started early and continued throughout his life and was a big part of them retiring in Aiken. He was affiliated with Aiken’s First Tee program which helps introduce golf to young people. He was also involved in several men’s golf committees and various groups at Woodside Plantation.
Chuck made friends with everyone he met and was loved by all.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday April 16, 2025, at Old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken, SC. Following the service, friends are invited to join the family at the Reserve Country Club at Woodside Plantation to remember and celebrate Chuck’s many accomplishments.
Interment will be in Cleveland Ohio and will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a favorite charity.
