Charles Noel Groover, 78, passed away Sunday morning, January 26, 2025 in NHC Healthcare, North Augusta, SC.
Charles was born in Savannah, Georgia on December 25th 1946. His mother was Helen Louise Olsen and father was Charles Wilbur Groover. He graduated from Allendale-Fairfax HS and served in the Navy during Vietnam.
Survivors include sons, Charles and Richard, grandchildren, Coleman, Jack and Madison. Also grieving is his best friend Eddie Fillman and his guardian angel care giver Beverly Gomez.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon, February 5th at 2 o’clock in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
