Charles Erwin Stauff

Charles “Chuck” Erwin Stauff, 85 years old, a resident of Aiken, SC died on June 8, 2022.

He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Chuck served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army for 27.5 years and was an SFC/E7 rank. He was a lifetime member of the Submariners Veterans and VFW of Aiken County. In his retirement, Chuck enjoyed wood working and playing pinochle with his friends.

He is survived by his daughter Patricia Lynn Stauff of Aiken, SC; his son Mark Andrew and wife Laura Cacciatore Stauff of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren Katherine Lindsay Kimery and husband Patrick of Zachary, LA, Marissa Leigh Stauff and Drew Charles Stauff of Philadelphia, PA; and one great grandchild James Patrick “JP” Kimery.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Stauff, brother Harold “Dick” Stauff, and parents Harold and Gladys Stauff.

The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life Service at SHELLHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 924 HAYNE AVE., AIKEN SC on Tuesday, June 21 at 10:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
