Christine Ellen Lovering

WINDSOR, SC - Christine Ellen Lovering of Windsor, South Carolina, died at 53 years of age on May 24.      

     She was predeceased by her partner Peter Regis, also of Windsor, by her parents, Richard Starbuck Lovering and Barbara Ellen Lovering, and by her eldest brother Richard Starbuck Lovering, Jr.

     Christine was born in 1968 in Lowell, Massachusetts. She grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and attended school there. She left school and became an independent, dependable and highly talented gardener and landscaper to many happy clients, during which time she very proudly earned her GED.        

     She developed a love of horses, which pointed her toward working in the equestrian culture in the rolling hills of Northeastern Massachusetts. She made frequent road trips to the South as part of teams that supported various horse showings and events. She and her longtime friend Peter fell in love and moved to the Aiken area, where they spent several happy years managing stables and properties.

     She is survived by her brother Kenneth Lovering and brother-in-law Paul Papierski of Putney, Vermont; sister-in-law Patricia Lockwood Lovering and nephews Richard Starbuck Lovering III and Theodore James Lovering, all of Longwood, Florida; and step-nephews Robert, Peter, and Patrick Macchione, all of central Florida. And of course, her pups, Tyson and Ziggy.
