David Marion Eubanks

AIKEN – Mr. David Marion Eubanks, 58, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018.

David was a lifelong resident of Aiken, and worked for over 25 years at Cold Creek Nursery as a Landscape Superintendent.  He was the crew chief for 30 years for Chuck Compton, the #55 racing team.  He was a loving husband, father, and son. 

David is survived by his beloved wife, Jessica L. Cowan Eubanks, two daughters, Leanne Anderson, Powaton, VA, Brittany (David) Wilkinson, Indian Trail, NC; a son, Jonathan Eubanks, Aiken; grandchildren, Kramer Anderson, Cassidy Anderson, Sam Anderson, Lilly Wilkinson, William Wilkinson; his parents, Marion and Edna Collie Eubanks, Aiken; a sister, Pam (Jeff) Courtney, Aiken; numerous nephews and a niece.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alex and Lillie Collie, paternal grandparents, Leon, Sr. and Myrtle Eubanks.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, and the funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 9, 2018 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Dr. Brad Willis officiating.  Interment will follow in Historic Bethany Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Compton, Ted Groomes, Pat Alexander, Bubba Courtney, Orry Courtney, and Coty Courtney.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Cold Creek Nurseries.
