David Albert Rudisill

David Albert Rudisill, 74, of Aiken South Carolina, passed away March 31, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Dave was born on January 30,1951 in Gettysburg Pennsylvania to the late Jean Elizabeth Rudisill (Harbaugh) and Wilbur Albert Rudisill.He was a graduate of Gettysburg High School in 1969. He attended the Industrial Management Institute and studied Architectural Design & Drafting. He spent a large portion of his professional career in Bel Air Maryland as a Design Engineer and Project Manager which included construction administration for site related work for commercial, industrial and residential development projects. Dave had an innate ability to build, create or fix anything and his handy-man abilities were appreciated by his wife. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Dave. He enjoyed nature: watching birds, sunsets, and the beauty of his wife’s garden. He strived for a peaceful & tranquil life and enjoyed playing golf, random road trips, nature walks and bicycle trails. 

He is survived by his devoted wife and partner of 28 years Rose Baker and his sidekick buddy Leo, an almost 18 year old Ragdoll cat. He is also survived by two sisters: Linda Teeter (Sam) and Sandra Ritchey. Nieces Carrie Teeter and Kate Dutrow (Joe) and a nephew Matt Teeter (Kristen) and 7 great nephews: Max,Alex, Aiden, Anden, Eddie, Will & Sammy. 

He is also survived by a sister-in-law Monica Hawse and brother-in-law Edwin and their children Eric, Jonathan and Emily; brother-in-law, Michael Guerrieri, and his children Olivia& Sara; great nieces & nephews: Scarlett, Haley, Lainey, Owen, Addison, Tripp & Logan.

A private memorial gathering will be held in Gettysburg, PA.
