Dixie Lee Dillman

Dixie Lee Dillman of Aiken, South Carolina, former longtime resident of Bush, Illinois, passed peacefully from this Earth to her heavenly home on January 6, 2023 at the age of 85. Born in Bush, Illinois to Frank and Bonnie Pinkston Pitts, Dixie is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years James Dillman, loving children Robin Dillman and Cheryl Dillman Reid, grandchildren Ryan and Eric Dillman, Daughter-in-Law Carla Dillman, and Son-in-Law Lee Reid. She was preceded in death by her brother Leon Pitts, her parents, and grandparents. Dixie enjoyed reading God’s word and sharing his love with everyone she met. She had a love for nature and enjoyed caring for all of God’s creatures including handfeeding her hummingbirds. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Dixie and James in Aiken at a later date. There will also be a Celebration in Southern Illinois, also to be scheduled at a future date.
