DOLORES BERBERICH KRENTA, 80, beloved widow of Ronald H. Krenta, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A native of Jersey City. NJ. Dolores was a daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth Berberich. Known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and generosity, she touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Dolores was an extraordinary figure, embracing the roles of pseudo mom, aunt, and grandmother to many, and she was deeply loved and appreciated by all who knew her.

Dolores dedicated much of her professional life to FW Woolworth Co., serving as Executive Secretary for the Chairman of the Board from 1960 until her retirement in 1998. Following her semi-retirement, she moved to Aiken, SC, with her husband Ron, where she worked at the Savannah River Site and later enjoyed a successful venture in real estate alongside her office partner, Dick Salsitz at Aiken Properties. Her passion for work never waned, and she continued to contribute actively until the end of her life.

An avid traveler, Dolores cherished her adventures, particularly her time in Hawaii. She held her friends and family close to her heart, often sharing fond memories and stories that brought joy to those around her. Recently, she embarked on a new journey, learning to play the ukulele.

Dolores is survived by her brother, Ronald Berberich of East Stroudsburg, PA; her sister, Carole Ann Fullen (Peter) of Ft. Myers, FL; her sister-in-law, Anne Berberich of Hackettstown, NJ; along with nine nieces and nephews and 23 grand-nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her much-loved goddaughter, Elizabeth Clayton.

In addition to her husband Ron, who passed away after 39 years of marriage in 2022, Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, brother Leo Berberich, sister-in-law Louise Berberich and stepson, Ronald John Krenta

Survivors include her brother, Ronald Berberich, East Stroudsburg, PA; sister, Carole Ann Fullen (Peter), Ft. Myers, FL; sister-in-law, Anne Berberich, Hackettstown, NJ; nine nieces and nephews; 23 grand-nieces and nephews and her much loved goddaughter, Elizabeth Clayton and godson, Leo Berberich.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated Monday morning, December 23rd at 11 o'clock at the Old St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church, 125 Park Ave SE, Aiken, SC 29801 with Father Orlando Serrano Ardilla as celebrant. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
