DOROTHY MARIE WERNER, 94, beloved widow of Dr. Charles Werner, gently passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Born in Floral Park, Long Island, NY, Dorothy was the cherished daughter of the late Paul and Matilda Als Pfretzschner. A proud alumna of Sewanhaka High School, she dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker. Known for her vibrant spirit, Dorothy delighted in traveling to exotic destinations and indulging in fine cuisine. She made her home in Aiken since 2008, where she continued to touch the lives of those around her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lynne Harrison (David) of Pawleys Island, SC, her son, Paul Teti (Birgid) of Aiken, SC, and her daughter, Janet Gluck (Ken) of Gold Canyon, AZ. Dorothy also leaves behind three grandchildren; Whitney Perreli, Kathleen Uszak, and James Zitzmann, along with seven great-grandchildren; Skye Teti, Natasha and Ruby Uszak, Harrison, Cora and Gabe Perreli, and Jace Zitzmann. Preceding her in death were her loving husband, her parents, a daughter, Barbara Harvey, two grandchildren, Paul Teti, Jr. and Chelsea Druzbick, and her brother, Charles Pfretzschner.
In honor of Dorothy's wishes, no service is planned at this time.
