Duane Allan Phillips

AIKEN - Mr. Duane Allan Phillips, 54, entered rest due to heart failure Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.   Duane was born October 23, 1963 in Richmond, VA. He moved with his family to Wilmington, DE in 1973 and then on to Aiken in 1975. Duane graduated from South Aiken High School in 1982 and attended Clemson University. He worked as a handyman.    Duane was a kind and caring man who believed in living the teachings of Jesus. His passing will leave friends and family with the joy of having known him. Duane’s presence will be missed.   He is survived by his parents, Terrance and Nancy Phillips; his brother, Charles, sister-in-law Dina Phillips and their two sons.  He truly enjoyed time with his nephews, Zachary and Oliver.   A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Shellhouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Debra Gutherie officiating.
