Eloise Hucks Causey

Lexington, SC – Mrs. Eloise Hucks Causey, 92, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018.

Mrs. Causey was born in Aynor, SC, a daughter of the late David Sparkman Hucks and Mattie Louise Williams Hucks.  She had lived in Aiken for 46 years, and in Surfside Beach for 18 years.  She was a member of Surfside United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Shannon) Kirk, Lexington, Ellen (Steve) Zielinski, Waterloo, SC; sons, Charlie (Cate) Causey, Newnan, GA, Mark (Debby) Causey, Augusta, GA; eight grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Causey, Matt Causey, Julie Causey, Michael (Tracy) Kirk, Rob (Elise) Kirk, Erin (David) Courtney, Aja (Matt) London, Rhiannon (Courtney) Shelbourne; sixteen great grandchildren, Cameron and Cooper Causey, Christopher and Jake Causey, Andrew, Rachel and Emma Kirk, Zack Kirk, Kaitlyn and Alex Courtney, Caroline, Slade and Piper King, Eloise Shelbourne, Elijah and Lauren London; two step-great-granddaughters, Ingrid and Eve Shelbourne; sister, Thelma Singleton, Conway, SC. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Andrew Causey, of almost 72 years; 2 sisters, Wilma Jolly and Letitia Dudley; 2 brothers, David Hucks and Collin Hucks. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Dr. J. Kirk Lawton officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
