Faye Roberson Lawson

Aiken - On March 2nd, 2025, Faye died the way she lived, adored by family and friends at her home of over 60 years in Aiken, SC. 

She was born February 25th, 1930, and spent her childhood in Florence, AL where she met her next-door neighbor, and the love of her life, Bob Lawson. She is survived by her sons Scott (Becky) Lawson, Marietta, GA and Bill Lawson, Aiken, SC. She was the proud grandmother of Kristina (Greg) Wise, Aiken; Brooke Lawson, Charlotte, NC; Buck (Hailey) Lawson, Anchorage, AK; Abby Lawson, Charleston; and Will Lawson, Aiken. She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Bob Lawson. 

She was an active member of Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Savannah River Plant, starting with Dupont in 1952. She was a diehard Clemson fan, IPTAY member and football season ticket holder for over 50 years. After retiring, she continued her passion as an avid adventurer traveling to all 7 continents. Anyone who knew Faye knew her as a kind person who dearly loved her family and friends. The family would like to thank Cindy Crawford for her loving care during her brief illness. 

A memorial service will be held at Memorial Baptist Church on Vaucluse Road in Aiken, SC at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2025, with a reception in the family life building immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, Faye asked that donations be sent to Memorial Baptist Church, 3100 Vaucluse Rd., Aiken, SC 29801, or the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home (https://conniemaxwell.com/give/)
