Florence Emeneker Busbee

AIKEN – Mrs. Florence Emeneker Busbee, 93, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Mrs. Busbee was born in Batesburg, SC, a daughter of the late Hugo and Pearl Harmon Emeneker.  She was a charter member of Memorial Baptist Church, a former member of the Pilot Club, and volunteered with the Aiken Hospital Auxiliary.  She worked in Customer Service for Farmers and Merchants Bank for over 20 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 72 years, W. Ernest Busbee; a daughter, Donna DuVall, Aiken; granddaughter, Kristin DuVall; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. A visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 PM, and the funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2018 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Charles Jenkins officiating.  Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be her nephews Memorials may be directed to the Aiken SPCA, 199 Willow Run Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
