AIKEN, SC - Mr. Gary Ord Percival, 80, beloved husband of Colleen Percival passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Piedmont Hospital with his loving family by his side.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Gary was the son of the late Paul and Ruth Percival. Gary graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, received his bachelor's degree from Penn State University and his master's degree from the University of Utah. He achieved the rank of Captain in the US Air Force before beginning work with Westinghouse Electric Corp. where he retired in 2005.
Gary was a lifelong Steeler and Nittany Lion fan. He enjoyed golfing at Houndslake Country Club but his greatest pleasure and proudest moments were watching his children on the tennis courts.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Colleen; son John Paul (Stephanie) Percival of Aiken; daughter, Stacey Leigh (Beau) Fieldsend, New Braunfels, TX; three grandchildren, Elliott John Percival, Brooke Reagan Fieldsen and Bree Nicole Fieldsend.
Plans for a Celebration of Gary's Life will be forthcoming.
