Gena V. Turner

Gena V (Ginger) Knotts Turner, born September 12, 1923 in rural Mississippi died November 2, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. Heaven lifted Mrs. Turner from her old world of pain, loneliness and sadness into her new Eternal home filled with peace, happiness and visits with family and friends who have gone on before her. Heaven has no CoVid19 restrictions! Born to the late Dalton and Hannie Knotts, she was the last remaining of five children. She married (the late) Morris L. Turner and is survived by her daughter Laura(Larry) Mercer, grandson Aaron(Emily) Mercer and great grandchildren Ella and Miles and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved fiercely. She fought hard.
