Geraldine "Gerri" M. Allen

Geraldine "Gerri" Allen, 90, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on December 6, 2023. She was born on August 30, 1933, in Emmanuel County. Geraldine was a true Southern Belle, known for her sweet and outgoing personality. She always wore a smile and made people feel special. Her presence brought laughter wherever she went.

Geraldine is survived by her loving daughters, Pamela Busbee of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Kimberly Sigley (Jeff) of Lexington, SC; and loving son, Timothy Allen of North Augusta, SC. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Nicole Busbee of Lexington, SC; Brandon Busbee (Erica) of West Columbia, SC; Brian Busbee of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Lindsey Toole (Rob) of Clark's Hill, SC; and Katie Alderson (Conrad) of North Augusta, SC.  Geraldine will be dearly missed by her great-grandchildren: Landon Busbee, Michaila Busbee, Braydon Busbee, Hunter Harrelson, Cruz Harrelson, McKenna Harrelson, Conner Toole, Olivia Toole, Khloe Alderson, and Emerson Kate Alderson.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emory Allen; her daughter, Donna Allen; her grandson, David Allen; and her great-grandsons, McKinley Harrelson, Kingston Alderson

Geraldine attended Swainsboro High School. She was a member of Foreman Memorial Baptist Church in New Ellenton, SC, where she found solace and strength in her faith.

In her spare time, Geraldine enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and baking.

A visitation will be held beginning at 11:00 AM, and the funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, Thursday, December 14, 2023, in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Danny Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Busbee, Brian Busbee, Landon Busbee, Conrad Alderson, Rob Toole, Hunter Harrelson, Cruz Harrelson.
